In their opening game, Rajala defeated Jaimee Gardner (Ottawa, ON) 8-2, then won 6-1 against Erin Morrissey (Ottawa, ON) and 9-4 against John Steski (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Rajala earned 10.625 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Capital Curling Classic.
