Yoshimura finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Yoshimura defeated Yuina Miura (Nayoro, JPN) 1-0, then won 10-7 against Kanai and 6-2 against Momoha Tabata (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Wakkanai Midori Challenge Cup Championship title, Yoshimura earned 18.750 world rankings points along with the $9,494CDN first prize cheque, moving up 9 spots the World Ranking Standings into 29th place overall with 76.009 total points. Yoshimura ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 37.500 points earned so far this season.
