Chantele Broderson/Kyler Kleibrink (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the Qualico Mixed Doubles Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-2 against Cory Christensen/Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN). of the Qualico Mixed Doubles Classic in Banff, Alberta, Canada;

Broderson/Kleibrink finished 3-2 in the 24 team Qualico Mixed Doubles Classic qualifying round, held September 29 - October 2 at the Banff Curling Club in Banff, Canada. In their opening game, Broderson/Kleibrink lost 7-6 to Chiaki Matsumura/Yasumasa Tanida (Nagano/Hokkaido, JPN), then responded with a 9-4 win over Karly King-Simpson/Connar Croteau (Victoria, BC). Broderson/Kleibrink went on to lose 8-6 against Nancy Martin/Tyrel Griffith (Saskatoon, SK). Broderson/Kleibrink responded with a 9-8 win over Sarah Anderson/Andrew Stopera (Minneapolis, MN). Broderson/Kleibrink won 9-2 against Sydney Libbus/Jacob Libbus (Okotoks, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Broderson/Kleibrink earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Qualico Mixed Doubles Classic. For week 9 of the event schedule, Broderson/Kleibrink did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
