To advance to the championship game, Schwaller won 9-2 over Mike McEwen (Toronto, ON) in the semifinals of the 2022 Curling Stadium Martensville International in Martensville, Saskatchewan, Canada;
 
Schwaller finished 4-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schwaller lost 6-4 to Yanagisawa, then responded with a 9-2 win over John Epping (Toronto, ON). Schwaller won 10-3 against Kyler Kleibrink (Calgary, AB), then won 5-2 against Michael Brunner (Bern, SUI) and 4-2 against Kody Hartung (Saskatoonc, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Curling Stadium Martensville International Championship title, Schwaller earned 33.750 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 11th place overall with 169.293 total points. Schwaller ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 63.500 points earned so far this season.
