To advance to the championship game, Parent won 8-2 over Daylan Vavrek (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2022 Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series #5 in Leduc, Alberta, Canada;
Parent finished 3-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Parent defeated Warren Kozak (Calgary, AB) 6-2, then won 6-4 against Hansen and 7-5 against Ryan Jacques (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series #5 Championship title, Parent earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 18 of the event schedule, Parent did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Parent ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
