Jacob Libbus (Okotoks, AB) run at the 2022 Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series #1 came to an end in the semifinals with a 4-2 loss to Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB).

Libbus finished 2-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Libbus lost 5-4 to Scott Webb (Grande Prairie, AB), then responded with a 6-3 win over John Epping (Toronto, ON). Libbus won 6-4 against Warren Cross (Edmonton, AB). Libbus went on to lose 6-5 against Aaron Sluchinski (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Libbus earned 12.750 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series #1. For week 4 of the event schedule, Libbus did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Libbus ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
