Honoka Sasaki (Kitami, JPN) qualified for the 2022 S3 Group Curling Stadium Series playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-3 against Seungyoun Ha (Chuncheon , KOR).

Sasaki finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sasaki defeated Sherrilee Orsted (Regina, SK) 7-6, then went on to lose 7-4 against Kristy Watling (Winnipeg, MB). Sasaki lost 5-4 to Stefania Constantini (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA) where Sasaki responded with a 8-2 win over Stephanie Thompson (Regina, SK). Sasaki won 10-3 against Sherry Anderson (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Sasaki earned 10.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the S3 Group Curling Stadium Series. Sasaki move up 23 spots after posting a net gain of 10.321 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 76th overall with 28.022 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Sasaki ranks 36th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 27.125 points earned so far this season.
