Clayton Wicks (Swift Current, SK) finished 1-3 in the 16 team S3 Group Curling Stadium Series qualifying round, held October 7 - 10 in , . In their opening game, Wicks lost 8-4 to Jason Jacobson (Saskatoon, SK), then responded with a 6-3 win over Kurt Dixon (Swift Current, SK). Wicks went on to lose 7-2 against Ben Gamble (Regina, SK). Wicks lost 9-4 to Josh Heidt (Kerrobert , SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Wicks earned 1.125 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 10 of the event schedule, Wicks did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Wicks ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
