In their opening game, Ramsfjell defeated Arild Berdal (Trondheim, NOR) 12-0, then won 8-2 against Flemming Davanger (Akershue, NOR) and 6-3 against Eirik Oey (Oslo, NOR). Ramsfjell won 6-2 against Magnus Nedregotten (Lillehammer, NOR), then won 8-4 against Walstad in their final qualifying round match.
