Virginija Paulauskaite (Lithuania) finished 6-3 in the 10 team Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships qualifying round, held November 20 - 27, 2021 in , . In their opening game, Paulauskaite lost 6-3 to Marianne Rorvik (Oslo, NOR), droppimg another game, 10-5 to Hetty Garnier (Kent, ENG) where Paulauskaite responded with a 7-3 win over Agi Szentannai (Budapest, HUN). Paulauskaite went on to lose 6-4 against Evelina Barone (Riga, LAT). Paulauskaite responded with a 8-3 win over Miia Ahrenberg (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Paulauskaite won 11-9 against Ajda Zaveljcina (Ljubliana, SLO), then won 9-2 against Daniela Matulova (Bratislava, SVK) and 9-5 against Irantzu Garcia (Vitoria-Gasteiz, ESP). Paulauskaite won 8-7 against Hannah Augustin (Kitzbuehel, AUT) in their final qualifying round match.

Paulauskaite earned 7.920 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. Paulauskaite move up 11 spots after posting a net gain of 6.71 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 122nd overall with 17.608 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
