Ross Whyte (Stirling, SCO) run at the 2022 Aberdeen International Curling Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-4 loss to Sixten Totzek (Munich, GER).
 
Whyte finished 4-1 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Whyte defeated Mark Watt (Perth, SCO) 8-3, then went on to lose 9-7 against Totzek. Whyte responded with a 7-3 win over Benny Kapp (Fuessen, GER). Whyte won 8-2 against David Sik (Prague, CZE), then won 5-4 against Magnus Ramsfjell (Trondheim, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Whyte earned 15.910 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Aberdeen International Curling Championship, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 10th place overall with 201.197 total points.
