Justin Runciman (Edmonton, AB) lost 4-2 to Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Leduc Lions U20 Bonspiel, held October 8 - 11, 2021 in Leduc, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Runciman won 6-4 over Kyler Kurina (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2021 Leduc Lions U20 Bonspiel in Leduc, Alberta;

Runciman finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Runciman defeated Beau Cornelson (Camrose, AB) 6-4, then went on to lose 6-5 against Tao. Runciman responded with a 4-3 win over Blake Petkau (Calgary, AB). Runciman won 8-4 against Ethan Chung (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Runciman ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
