Mesloe won 11-5 against Isabelle Ladouceur (Sudbury, CAN), then won 9-7 against Fay Henderson (Stirling, SCO). Mesloe went on to lose 9-6 against Xenia Schwaller (Biel, SUI). Mesloe lost 10-5 to Sae Yamamoto (Japan) where Mesloe responded with a 9-8 win over Evelina Barone (Riga, LAT). Mesloe won 7-3 against Strouse in their final qualifying round match.
