Eunji Gim (Uijeongbu, KOR) won 5-3 over Lindsay Bertsch (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the Ladies Alberta Open, held November 12 - 14, 2021 at the Okotoks Curling Club in Okotoks, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Gim won 5-4 over Ryleigh Bakker (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals
Gim finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gim defeated Bakker 7-2, then won 7-0 against Elysa Crough (Edmonton , AB) and 7-4 against Beth Farmer (Kinross, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Ladies Alberta Open Championship title, Gim earned 20.583 world rankings points along with the $2,400CDN first prize cheque. Gim move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 5.058 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 12th overall with 182.177 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Gim ranks 13th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 84.693 points earned so far this season.
