Retornaz won 7-2 against Edin, then won 11-5 against Sixten Totzek (Munich, GER) and 8-3 against Kalle Kiiskinen (Hyvinkaa, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.

With their third place finish at the Le Gruyere AOP European Curling Championships, Retornaz earn 39.838 world rankings points. Retornaz move up 5 spots after posting a net gain of 26.149 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 21st overall with 154.213 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
