Tansy Tober (Winnipeg, MB) finished 5-3 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tober lost 8-4 to Katy Lukowich (Sudbury, NONT), then responded with a 8-6 win over Cassie Rogers (Yellowknife, NT). Tober won 9-6 against Mackenzie Mitchell (St. John's, NL), then won 9-3 against Sophie Blades (Chester, NS). Tober went on to lose 6-4 against Serena Gray-Withers (Edmonton, AB). Tober lost 11-6 to Celia Evans (Oromocto, NB) where Tober responded with a 7-3 win over Rachel MacLean (Cornwall, PEI). Tober won 8-3 against Jolianne Fortin (Kenogami, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

Tober earned 6.309 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 36 of the event schedule, Tober did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Tober ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
