Dangerfield finished 3-1 in the 8 team Torchlight Brewing Classic qualifying round, held September 24 - 26 at the Trail Curling Club in Trail, Canada. In their opening game, Dangerfield defeated McCrady 7-6, then won 6-4 against Mark Longworth (Vernon, BC). Dangerfield went on to lose 6-3 against Paul Cseke (Victoria, BC). Dangerfield responded with a 7-2 win over Connor Kent (Richmond, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Dangerfield earned 8.625 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Torchlight Brewing Classic, moving up 28 spots the World Ranking Standings into 104th place overall with 21.539 total points. Dangerfield ranks 63rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.625 points earned so far this season.
