Yannick Schwaller (Bern, SUI) won 6-5 over Ross Paterson (Glasgow, SCO) in the Final of the Aberdeen International Curling Championship, held March 12 - 15, 2020 in Aberdeen, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Schwaller won 6-1 over Cameron Bryce (Stirling, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2020 Aberdeen International Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland; and won 6-5 over Joel Retornaz (Pinerolo, ITA) in the quarterfinals. of the 2020 Aberdeen International Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland;
 
Schwaller finished 4-0 in the 17-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schwaller defeated Peng Han (CHANGCHUN, CHN) 6-1, then won 8-6 against Magnus Ramsfjell (Trondheim, NOR) and 8-5 against Fredrik Nyman (Stockholm, SWE). Schwaller won 7-2 against Jan Hess (Zug, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
