Peter De Cruz (Geneva, SUI) won 8-6 over Lucien Lottenbach (Zug, SUI) in the Final of the Schweizer Cup, held December 19 - 22, 2019 in Biel, Switzerland. To advance to the championship game, De Cruz won 9-3 over Yannick Schwaller (Bern, SUI) in the semifinals
 
De Cruz finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, De Cruz defeated Timo Daniel (Laufen, SUI) 8-2, then won 8-2 against Jan Klossner (Langenthal, SUI) and 6-2 against Marco Hoesli (Glarus, SUI). De Cruz won 6-2 against Simon Gempeler (Adelboden, SUI). De Cruz went on to lose 8-7 against Jan Hess (Zug, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Schweizer Cup Championship title, De Cruz earned 26.996 world rankings points along with the $6,704CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 8th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 369.831 total points. De Cruz ranks 10th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 233.581 points earned so far this season.
