Matt Bijil (Manitoba) won 6-5 over Emerson Klimpke (Brandon, MB) in the Final To advance to the championship game, Bijil won 7-4 over Jack Hykaway (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the Quality Inn Winkler MJCT Junior Classic in Winkler, Manitoba, Canada; and won 6-1 over Josh Maisey (Manitoba) in the quarterfinals.

Bijil finished 2-1 in the 12 team Quality Inn Winkler MJCT Junior Classic qualifying round, held October 25 - 27 at the Winkler Curling Club in Winkler, Canada. In their opening game, Bijil lost 6-0 to Landon Krahn (Winkler, MB), then responded with a 8-3 win over Peter Albig (Manitoba). Bijil won 7-6 against Jordon Johnson (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Bijil ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
