Lessard won 12-0 against Bob Prenoveau (Utica, NY). Lessard went on to lose 6-6 against Jesi Strachem (Iron Station, NC). Lessard responded with a 9-3 win over Shawn Sadowski (Portage, WI). Lessard went on to lose 4-2 against Jimmy Joseph (Utica, NY). Lessard responded with a 8-1 win over George Eldridge (Bridgeport, CT) in their final qualifying round match.
