Anderson/Dropkin finished 4-1 in the 36 team Qualico Mixed Doubles Classic qualifying round, held January 2 - 5, 2020 at the Banff Curling Club in Banff, Canada. In their opening game, Anderson/Dropkin defeated Anika Villemaire/Ky Macaulay (Banff, AB) 12-0, then won 8-3 against Emilie Desjardins/Robert Desjardins (Chicoutimi, QC). Anderson/Dropkin went on to lose 8-6 against Dezaray Hawes/Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC). Anderson/Dropkin responded with a 6-4 win over Junko Nishimuro/Satoru Tsukamoto (Yamanashi, JPN). Anderson/Dropkin won 7-4 against Daniela Rupp/Kevin Wunderlin (Switzerland) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Qualico Mixed Doubles Classic, Anderson/Dropkin take home 42.016 world rankings points along with the $6,500CDN prize, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 18.9 after improving upon their best so far this season. Anderson/Dropkin ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 133.066 points earned so far this season.
