Sherry Just/Ryan Deis (Prince Albert, SK) needed a tiebreaker to advance to the playoffs, Just/Deis finished 3-2 in the 24 team Canad Inns Mixed Doubles Championship qualifying round, held November 15 - 17, 2019 at the Portage Curling Club in Portage La Prairie, Canada. In their opening game, Just/Deis defeated Alex Ashton/Dawson Wekkrink (British Columbia) 10-6, then went on to lose 5-4 against Clare Moores/Lance Wheeler (Denver, CO). Just/Deis lost 9-1 to Jennifer Jones/Brent Laing (Manitoba) where Just/Deis responded with a 9-6 win over Nancy Martin/Tyrel Griffith (Saskatoon, SK). Just/Deis won 8-6 against Hyeji Jang/Yujin Seong (Uiseong, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Just/Deis earned 6.326 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 29.638 total points. Just/Deis ranks 50th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 20.927 points earned so far this season.
