Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) won 8-3 over Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the Final To advance to the championship game, Tirinzoni won 6-4 over Irene Schori (Limmattal, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2019 Womens Masters Basel in Arlesheim, Switzerland, Switzerland; and won 8-4 over Corrie Huerlimann (Zug, SUI) in the quarterfinals.
Tirinzoni finished 3-0 in the 16 team Womens Masters Basel qualifying round, held October 11 - 13, 2019 at the Curlingzentrum Region Basel in Arlesheim, Switzerland. In their opening game, Tirinzoni defeated Zuzana Paulova (Czech Republic) 10-2, then won 7-3 against Sophie Jackson (Dumfries, SCO) and 10-4 against Selina Witschonke (Luzern, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Womens Masters Basel Championship title, Tirinzoni earned 42.329 world rankings points along with the $13,877CDN first prize cheque. Tirinzoni gained 12.933 points improving upon their best 3 events, though dropped 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 3rdplace overall with 545.747 total points. Tirinzoni ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 117.766 points earned so far this season.
