Colwell finished 4-0 in the 12 team Anita Cochrane Memorial Junior Men qualifying round, held September 20 - 22, 2019 at the Royal City Curling Club in New Westminster, Canada. In their opening game, Colwell defeated Sampson McNeill (British Columbia) 1-0, then won 7-2 against Preston Ballard (British Columbia) and 5-4 against Dawson Ballard (Hungary). Colwell won 9-4 against Ryo Aoki (Japan) in their final qualifying round match.
