In their opening game, Tardi defeated Grant Olsen (Kamloops, BC) 8-5, then won 5-3 against Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) and 5-1 against Sean Geall (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Kamloops Crown of Curling, Tardi take home 16.812 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN prize, moving up 11 spots the World Ranking Standings into 30th place overall with 127.474 total points. Tardi ranks 30th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 58.617 points earned so far this season.
