To advance to the championship game, Hasselborg/Eriksson won 7-3 over Clancy Grandy/Patrick Janssen (Toronto, ON) in the semifinals of the 2019 MadTown DoubleDown presented by Leinenkugel in McFarland, Wisconsin, United States; and won 5-4 over Sarah Anderson/Korey Dropkin (Minneapolis, USA) in the quarterfinals.
 
Hasselborg/Eriksson finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hasselborg/Eriksson defeated Kelly Luenenborg/Aaron Johnston (Denver, CO) 6-2, then won 10-5 against Shannon Birchard/Catlin Schneider (Winnipeg, MB) and 8-2 against Anderson/Dropkin in their final qualifying round match.
