To advance to the championship game, Bice won 6-2 over John Willsey (Waterloo, ON) in the semifinals of the 2018 Port Elgin Superspiel in Port Elgin, Ontario, Canada; and won 7-2 over Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 Port Elgin Superspiel in Port Elgin, Ontario, Canada;
 
Bice finished 4-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bice defeated Dayna Deruelle (Harriston, ON) 5-2, then won 6-5 against Al Hutchinson (Owen Sound, ON) and 5-4 against Charlie Richard (London, ON). Bice won 6-3 against 's Richard Krell in their final qualifying round match.
