Comeau finished 3-2 in the 18 team WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic qualifying round, held December 7 - 9, 2018 at the Thistle St. Andrews Curling Club in Saint John, Canada. In their opening game, Comeau defeated Alan O'Leary (Dartmouth, NS) 4-3, then went on to lose 8-1 against Kendal Thompson (HALIFAX, NS). Comeau lost 4-2 to Jason Vaughan (Saint John, NB) where Comeau responded with a 11-3 win over Kevin Ouellette (Halifax, NS). Comeau won 6-5 against Jean-Sebastien Roy (Saguenay, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

Comeau earned 9.006 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic, moving up 118 spots the World Ranking Standings into 207th place overall with 13.277 total points.
