In their opening game, Brandwood defeated Siyu Han (Changchun, CHN) 8-5, then won 4-3 against Danielle Inglis (Toronto, ON) and 6-4 against Heather Heggestad (Oakville, ON). Brandwood won 4-3 against Jo-Ann Rizzo (Tornto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
