Horton responded with a 7-3 win over Maureen Broder (Ottawa, ON). Horton won 7-5 against Selina Witschonke (Luzern, SUI). Horton went on to lose 7-3 against Mary-Anne Arsenault (Halifax, NS). Horton lost 8-7 to Amelie Blais (Levis, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
