In their opening game, Gibb lost 7-6 to Susan Quan (Lethbridge, AB), then responded with a 11-5 win over Georgia Doonanco (Bonnyville, AB). Gibb won 6-5 against Quinn Prodaniuk (Sherwood Park, AB), then won 12-6 against Adrianna Miller (Acme, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
