Wang went on to lose 12-5 against EunJung Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Wang lost 10-4 to Nina Roth (Blaine, USA) where Wang responded with a 7-5 win over Rachel Homan (Ottawa, CAN). Wang went on to lose 8-4 against Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

Wang earned 22.181 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. Wang gained 15.81 points improving upon their best events, though dropped 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 14thplace overall with 423.128 total points. Wang ranks 12th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 232.360 points earned so far this season.
