Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO) qualified for the 2018 Aberdeen International Curling Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-4 against Alexander Baumann (Baden-Baden, GER). of the 2018 Aberdeen International Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland;
 
Brewster finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brewster lost 6-5 to Steffen Walstad (Oppdal, NOR), then responded with a 8-4 win over Callum Kinnear (Perth, SCO). Brewster won 9-2 against Sebastian Wunderer (Kitzbuhel, AUT), then won 5-4 against Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.
