Dale Kelly (Chatham, ON) finished 3-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kelly defeated Drew Macklin (Burlington, ON) 12-4, then won 11-6 against Ryan LeDrew (Sarnia, ON) and 8-5 against Len Rominger (Welland, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Ontario Tankard - Qualifier 4 Championship title, Kelly earned 12.578 world rankings points. For week 18 of the event schedule, Kelly did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kelly ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
