In their opening game, Anderson lost 8-3 to Cathy Overton-Clapham (Winnipeg, MB), droppimg another game, 7-5 to Margaretha Sigfridsson (Skelleftea, SWE) where Anderson responded with a 5-4 win over Shannon Kleibrink (Okotoks, AB). Anderson went on to lose 4-2 against Overton-Clapham in their final qualifying round match.
