Jones finished 3-0 in the 24 team DEKALB Superspiel qualifying round, held November 18 - 21, 2016 at the Morris Curling Club in Morris, Canada. In their opening game, Jones defeated Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB) 7-0, then won 6-2 against Joelle Brown (Winnipeg, MB) and 5-4 against Shannon Birchard (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the DEKALB Superspiel Championship title, Jones earned 51.188 world rankings points along with the $11,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 691.714 total points. Jones ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 265.778 points earned so far this season.
