Allison Flaxey (Caledon, ON) qualified for the 2016 DEKALB Superspiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 9-6 against Michelle Englot (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2016 DEKALB Superspiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada;
Flaxey finished 4-2 in the 24 team DEKALB Superspiel qualifying round, held November 18 - 21, 2016 at the Morris Curling Club in Morris, Canada. In their opening game, Flaxey defeated Cathy Overton-Clapham (Winnipeg, MB) 5-4, then won 4-1 against Briane Meilleur (Winnipeg, MB). Flaxey went on to lose 5-3 against Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg, MB). Flaxey responded with a 7-5 win over Cathy Auld (Toronto, ON). Flaxey went on to lose 6-4 against Jamie Sinclair (Blaine, USA). Flaxey responded with a 7-1 win over Tiffany McLean (Portage la Prairie, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
Flaxey earned 21.938 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the DEKALB Superspiel, remaining in 6th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 481.682 total points. Flaxey ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 288.504 points earned so far this season.
