In their opening game, Combe lost 7-5 to Robin Brydone (Stirling, SCO), then responded with a 9-4 win over Stuart Taylor (Glasgow, SCO). Combe won 9-3 against Graham Shaw (Edinburgh, SCO), then won 8-2 against John McCall (Glasgow, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Scottish Championship - Qualifiers, Combe take home 2.475 world rankings points. For week of the event schedule, Combe did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
