To advance to the championship game, Mouat won 6-2 over Grant Hardie (Dumfries, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2015 LELY Dumfries Challenger Series in Dumfries, Scotland; and won 9-5 over Jaap van Dorp (Zoetermeer, NED) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 LELY Dumfries Challenger Series in Dumfries, Scotland;
 
Mouat finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat defeated Rasmus Wrana (Harnosand, SWE) 9-3, then won 6-5 against Scott Hamilton (Edinburgh, SCO) and 8-3 against Moon (Dumfries, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the LELY Dumfries Challenger Series Championship title, Mouat earned 16.853 world rankings points along with the $4,170CDN first prize cheque, moving up 9 spots the World Ranking Standings into 69th place overall with 71.561 total points. Mouat ranks 56th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 53.466 points earned so far this season.
