To advance to the championship game, Ramsay won 5-4 over Peter Stolt (St. Paul, MN) in the semifinals of the 2013 St. Paul Cash Spiel in St. Paul; and won 6-1 over Ontario's Trevor Bonot in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 St. Paul Cash Spiel in St. Paul;
 
Ramsay finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ramsay defeated Minnesota's John Shuster 7-6, then went on to lose 6-2 against John Lilla (St Paul, MN). Ramsay responded with a 6-5 win over Mike Farbelow (St. Paul, MN). Ramsay won 7-4 against Ontario's Brian Adams Jr., then won 6-2 against Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the St. Paul Cash Spiel Championship title, Ramsay earned 7.000 world rankings points along with the $4,739CDN first prize cheque, moving up 99 spots the World Ranking Standings into 99th place overall with 9.025 total points. Ramsay ranks 40th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.000 points earned so far this season.
