Daryl Shane (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) won 5-3 over Roy Arndt (Toronto, ON) in the Final of the Port Elgin Superspiel, held November 8 - 10, 2013 at the Port Elgin Curling Club in Port Elgin, Canada. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Shane won 5-2 over Peter Mellor (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) to advance to the championship game. of the 2013 Port Elgin Superspiel in Port Elgin, Ontario, Canada;
 
Shane finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shane defeated Mellor 5-4, then won 6-1 against AJ Schumacher (Teeswater, ON) and 7-1 against Doug Hamilton (Port Elgin, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Port Elgin Superspiel Championship title, Shane earned 2.500 world rankings points along with the $5,650CDN first prize cheque, moving up 95 spots the World Ranking Standings into 200th place overall with 3.188 total points. Shane ranks 127th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.500 points earned so far this season.
