To advance to the championship game, Wang won 7-3 over Yilun Jiang (Harbin, CHN) in the semifinals of the 2013 Denham Hospitality Summer Classic in Leduc, Alberta, Canada; and won 7-4 over Lisa Eyamie (Grande Prairie, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 Denham Hospitality Summer Classic in Leduc, Alberta, Canada;
 
Wang finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wang lost 5-4 to Leslie Rogers (Edmonton, AB), then responded with a 8-4 win over Jessie Kaufman (Spruce Grove, AB). Wang won 8-2 against Patti Knezevic (Prince George, BC), then won 7-0 against Delia DeJong (Grande Prairie, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Denham Hospitality Summer Classic Championship title, Wang earned 6.200 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 25th place overall with 53.225 total points. Wang ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 15.100 points earned so far this season.
