Vaughan won 9-3 against Paul Dobson (Saint John, NB), then won 9-3 against Adam MacDonald (Woodstock, NB) and 5-3 against Shaun Mott (Gladstone, NB). Vaughan went on to lose 9-3 against Grattan in their final qualifying round match.

Vaughan earned 2.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Molson Canadian Men's Tankard, moving up 39 spots the World Ranking Standings into 160th place overall with 6.700 total points. Vaughan ranks 121st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 5.500 points earned so far this season.
