Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the 2013 Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-2 against Tracy Horgan (Sudbury, ON).

Nedohin finished 5-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Nedohin defeated Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK) 5-2, then won 7-2 against Amber Holland (Regina, SK) and 5-4 against Delia DeJong (Sexsmith, AB). Nedohin won 6-4 against Valerie Sweeting (Edmonton, AB), then won 6-5 against Mirjam Ott (Davos, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

Nedohin earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown, remaining in 3rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 292.865 total points. Nedohin ranks 5th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 138.250 points earned so far this season.
