Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK) won 5-4 over Chelsea Carey (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Colonial Square Ladies Classic, held November 8 - 12, 2012 at the Nutana Curling Club in Saskatoon, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Lawton won 4-3 over Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS) in the semifinals of the 2012 Colonial Square Ladies Classic in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 5-1 over Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2012 Colonial Square Ladies Classic in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada;
 
Lawton finished 4-0 in the 48-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lawton defeated Kara Kilden (Saskatoon, SK) 7-5, then won 7-5 against Kelly Scott (Kelowna, BC) and 5-3 against Tracy Horgan (Sudbury, ON). Lawton won 5-3 against Laura Crocker (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Colonial Square Ladies Classic Championship title, Lawton earned 40.000 world rankings points along with the $12,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 2nd place overall with 251.335 total points.
