Randie Shen (Taipei City, CTP) qualified for the 2011 Cloverdale Cash Spiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 10-3 against Bryan Miki (New Westminster, BC). of the 2011 Cloverdale Cash Spiel in Surrey, British Columbia;

Shen finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shen defeated Chris Girling (Kelowna, BC) 7-6, then won 5-4 against British Columbia's Daniel Wenzek. Shen went on to lose 5-3 against Wes Craig (Victoria, BC). Shen responded with a 8-4 win over Sean Beighton (Seattle, WA) in their final qualifying round match.

Shen earned 0.750 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Cloverdale Cash Spiel. For week 5 of the event schedule, Shen did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Shen ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
