Brent Yamada (British Columbia) qualified for the 2010 Labatt Crown of Curling playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-3 against Greg McAulay (Richmond, BC). of the 2010 Labatt Crown of Curling in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Yamada finished 3-2 in the 24 team Labatt Crown of Curling qualifying round, held November 26 - 29, 2010 at the Kamloops Curling Club in Kamloops, Canada. In their opening game, Yamada lost 6-5 to Ron Leech (British Columbia), droppimg another game, 5-4 to Dean Ross (Calgary, AB) where Yamada responded with a 9-0 win over Kevin Ihlen (Kamloops, BC). Yamada won 8-3 against Grant Olsen (Kamloops, BC), then won 6-0 against Tyrel Griffith (Vernon, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Yamada earned 3.930 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Labatt Crown of Curling. For week 12 of the event schedule, Yamada did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Yamada ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
