In their opening game, Koe defeated Andrey Drozdov (Moscow, RUS) 4-2, then won 8-7 against Sean Geall (New Westminster, BC) and 8-5 against Kerry Burtnyk (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Twin Anchors Invitational Championship title, Koe earned 18.800 world rankings points along with the $7,500CDN first prize cheque. For week of the event schedule, Koe did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Koe ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
