To advance to the championship game, Whyte won 6-5 over Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2025 AMJ Masters in London, Ontario; and won 6-5 over Yannick Schwaller (Geneva, SUI) in the quarterfinals.
 
Whyte finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Whyte defeated John Epping (Sudbury, NO) 6-2, then won 9-2 against Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) and 6-1 against Brad Jacobs (Calgary, AB). Whyte won 12-2 against Marco Hoesli (Glarus, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the AMJ Masters, Whyte take home 55.000 world rankings points along with the $25,000CDN prize. Whyte gained 34 points improving upon their best 2 events, though dropped 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 5thplace overall with 333.250 total points.
